Save The Environment !

Recycling is crucial for protecting our planet and conserving natural resources. By reusing materials, we not only reduce waste in landfills but also save energy and lower pollution levels.

Overconsumption must be taken seriously

Sharjah, UAE – April 10, 2026 – over consumption is not just a small issue anymore, it is becoming a serious problem in our daily lives. Many young people today are buying things they do not really need, and this behaviour is starting to feel normal. But the truth is, it should not be normal, and people need to be more aware of it.

To reduce overconsumption we have to learn from countries that have already taken action. For example, Sweden has adopted a sustainability approach to reduce waste and have limits for unnecessary buying. The government encourages people to recycle and reuse products. This is why changing is possible when people become more aware of their habits, and other countries should follow similar steps (European Environment Agency, 2020) https://www.Sweden

Also, companies or brands. They use influencers and attractive advertisement to make products look more important than they really are. People feel like they will miss something if they do not buy it. In addition, companies that offer products with a very affordable price. Such as, Shein encourage overconsumption by constantly releasing discounts. This makes people buy more, even if they do not need the products. As a result, many consumers spend money and end up with items they rarely use.

This situation is not only affecting people, but also the environment. When people keep on buying items and throwing them away, it creates a lot of waste. Because many items are only used for once or twice, then it’s forgotten. That is harmful. Something needs to change.

Over consumption is a problem that should be taken more seriously. People need to start thinking before they buy anything. It is important to ask, “do I really need this?” making better choices can help in reducing waste and improve both our life and the environment. If this behaviour continues, this problem will only get worse in the future.

protecting the environment is our responsibility. Overconsumption leads to unnecessary waste and puts pressure on the planet’s resources. If we continue this behavior, the damage will only increase. In my opinion, reducing overconsumption is not a choice anymore, but a necessity to protect our future
